Today is Jonah’s first birthday. I can hardly believe a whole year has  gone by. It’s really true how they  say life passes even more quickly once you have kids. Even though it seems like he was just born, I have a hard time remembering what my life was like before he arrived. What a strange concept to think about going through my days with only  myself to take care of. The idea feels so foreign to me now. I have to admit there are times when I miss having that kind of freedom but I don’t for a minute regret my time with my son. What a blessing he has been.
