Small Victory
So I’ve been doing EC (elimination communication or infant potty training) part time since Jonah was 2 1/2 months old. I can’t say that it’s gone super well but it hasn’t been a complete disaster either. It doesn’t go really well when I’m traveling, however, and after our trip to Phoenix it started to go pretty badly again. I was just about to consider giving up when Jonah handed me the potty yesterday after nursing and proceeded to go poop. I missed one later that day being distracted, preparing dinner but again today he handed me the potty and he pooped after. You can laugh at me for being so excited but you know it’s the little things…
As for my visit with the in laws, it could have been much worse. I think they were trying to be super nice so we would visit more often. I must say, however, that ten days was way too long. I definitely have some stories but they will have to wait. I am off to Vermont for two weeks for a real vacation. I guess my blog will have to be put on hold for the time being…
