Suggestions for Picky eaters

Published by dancermom at 3:14 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I need help! Jonah is eating a bit more but it’s still really limited what I can get him to eat. I was wondering if any of you out there could share some ideas on what you feed your picky eater. Right now he’s mostly eating chicken soup and crackers. He likes melon and sometimes banana but most fruit he doesn’t care for. He doesn’t like anything mashed or pureed. He doesn’t care for pasta, yogurt or cheese either. Sometimes he’ll eat a little bread but not all the time. Anyway, I am tired of giving him only soup so would love to have any ideas thrown my way!

Thanks.

I think at that age E wanted to try just about anything that we were eating. When possible we would allow her. I did just read something that said often it takes on average about 10 times of exposing a child to a new food before they will readily eat it. I guess just keep offering and exposing him to a variety of things and eventually he will expand his pallette. Good luck!
